News: Hong Kong Special Stamps Issuing Programme 2013 新聞: 香港2013年特別郵票發行計劃

On September 20, 2012, Hong Kong Post announced the details of the Special Stamps Issuing Programme 2013 and the 2013 Local Standing Order Service.

There are 12 sets of stamps:
1. Year of the Snake (January 26, 2013)

2. The 150th Anniversary of the International Committee of the Rea Cross (February 28, 2013)
3. Children Stamps - My Pet and I (March 28, 2013)
4. Revitalisation of Historic Buildings in Hong Kong (May 7, 2013)
5. Cruise Terminal at Kai Tak (June 2013 TBC)
6. Chinese and Western Wedding Customs (July 23, 2013)
7. World Heritage in China Series No.2: The Old Town of Lijiang (August 22, 2013)
8. Hong Kong Buses (September 24, 2013)
9. Inclusive Arts (October 15, 2013)
10. Innovation and Technology (November 19 2013)
11. Our Legislative Council (December 5, 2013)

"Gold and Silver Stamp Sheetlet on Lunar New Year Animals - Dragon/Snake" is the world's first stamp sheetlet made of 22K gold-plated lace metal and hot-foiled with silver. Colour postmarks are also brought to Hong Kong for the first time for the First Day Covers "Hong Kong Buses" and "Inclusive Arts". Philatelists who love Hong Kong stamps should not miss.
